Who we are

OLR Consulting is a trading name of Ascent Ventures Management Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 11772449. What we collect

• Details you send through our contact form or by email or telephone: your name, email address, telephone number, and the content of your message.
• For clients: business contact details, and the documents and data needed to deliver our services, such as energy bills, production data and project records.
• Technical data our hosting provider records when you visit this site, such as your IP address and browser type, in server logs.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss your requirements: our legitimate interests, and steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
• To deliver services to clients: performance of our contract.
• To keep business and accounting records: compliance with our legal obligations.
• To send occasional relevant business updates to business contacts: our legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time by replying or emailing us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers who process data on our behalf: Formspree (contact-form processing), Netlify (website hosting), Microsoft (email) and Google Fonts (font delivery, which receives your IP address when the page loads). Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires. Where a client asks us to make an application on their behalf, we share the information needed with the relevant government body.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 24 months. Client records: for the length of the engagement and six years afterwards, to meet legal and accounting requirements.

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your personal data, and for its correction or deletion. You can also object to or ask us to restrict its use, or ask for a copy to be transferred.
